turbo blower blows air on the turbo for cooling ,
some rover200 turbos also Renault 5 turbo and I think the rs turbo
you used hear them running after you turned off ign for couple of mins

could use something like a inline bilge blower for a boat

just a thought !!

Greece 2007 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Keswick Green
And all these brings this http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic26212.html in the discussion Confused Confused
As BAS mentioned even standard pumas run high egt's.
After readind tons of articles all over the web,i am convinced that when tuned(sometimes even in standard form) you'll have to drive by the egt meter.
I lowered the egt alarm to 650 celcious,i rarely hit it now and exaust seems ok after 3500 klms, the sad thing is that the other day i drove a mates untuned puma,no egt meters etc.
On the same long ascent i got it to speed limiter and speed started to drop a little.
I did the same with mine, got it to same klms faster but i had to back off the throttle(and drop speed) cause the egt's went high Sad
Next time we'll test both pumas at the same time (gents place your bets!) but i am afraid that the stock puma will finish first..
No conclusion Rolling Eyes
