I pursued them for a year to get a new bulkhead fitted to my old TD5. Like my dogs, once I get hold of something I won't let go! I wouldn't buy a trim fastener from any Stratstone dealer, never mind a vehicle!

I had LR customer services onto Stratstone all the way and to be honest their impact was minimal. I wrote to the CEO of Pendragon who own Stratstone. That got them moving along!

There have been four different contacts in this claim, Stratstone, Pentland, Willowbrae and LRCS and each on is blaming one another. Never have i been messed about for a warranty defect before.
Thanks all. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS.. |

Hello RED-DOT,
I am very sorry to hear of the issues you have had. I will be more than happy to look into this for you. Please could you supply me with the following bits of information: Full Name Reg VIN If the dealership submitted the warranty work then this would have no affect on the change of ownership of the dealerships, the claim will still be on our system so I will be able to check this for you. Many Thanks Mike |

You could always try Hunters @ Norwich - been ignored there many a time & have now stop going; a bigger bunch of supercilious would be hard to find...

To their credit, they've always ignored me irrespective of how I'm actually dressed - be it casual or smart; so they're not snobs, just complete cheap suited t*ssers, just one failed sale away from the dole queue

My first contact with Stratstone for this problem was in March 2012!!! Failed emails and not replying to calls were too common. The body shop in Edinburgh had no courtesy car exept a Jag... I haul deer off the estate that is why i bought a Defender.
Mike is on the case....... 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS.. |

Write to Trevor Finn CEO of Pendragon with your complaint. Address you letter 'personal for'. As I say LR customer services, although sympathetic, were as much use as a button on a sock! I wore to him and hey presto new bulkhead was authorised.
