Fitted a Mota Lita steering wheel. It's a bit smaller although now I'm not so sure if I should have ordered the smaller version of the two.
Also fitted the mud snow cowl. Not a fan of the looks but at this price it's worth a try to keep the rain out of the heater box. Btw, very impressed with the fast delivery to Holland from Mud. |

Replaced the broken lens on one of my Wipac spotlights. After a fair bit of searching around the internet I ordered one from a company called Off Road Rovers. I hadn't used them before but can say I'm delighted with their service, I ordered it on Sunday and it was delivered today (Tuesday) which is excellent considering I'm in the Highlands and there was no extortionate postage costs. All in for a new lens it was less than Ł15 - bargain! 2007 (57) Defender 90 (Sold)
Looking for another to replace it. The road less travelled.... is a muddy one! |

Looks like now you have started, there's plenty more to go at judging from that photo.

David, did you find the captive nut section I was talking about previously in the kit?
The caps are good, would look too blingy on the front otherwise. Looks like you need some rust treatment and Dinitrol on the rest of there fast! Last edited by custom90 on 10th Jul 2014 6:57am. Edited 1 time in total |

yeah they are just right i think. didn't need the captive nut bit, had a new one a while ago as lost one when upgrading to DRL bump (doh!)
as for the rest of it, it really isn't as bad as it looks in those pictures (camera seems to pick it out). waxoyling today though! just been underneath getting soaked with degreaser & pressure washer, its actually looking very good underneath. will report back when done Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

cleaned the underside with the intention of waxoyling, but then realised that i wouldn't be able to paint the rear crossmember with it all waxy so did that first.

What did they coat them with, sea salt and vinegar.
Goes with chips but not bolts. |

to be fair it seemed like the powder coating was 'rusting' off but leaving a pretty good bolt underneath. just didn't have time to observe the whole process lol. Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |
