I've never really heard of one drying out. I dont think a new 12v horn will cost you too much.
But as mentioned, before you go purchasing new, make sure you have full battery voltage to the horn from the plug.

Horn was Censored - so have got it changed out for a dual tone BMW one which is a bit more punchy. The Rules:-

So did the horn sound change before or after the Trucklites were installed. If after, seeing as the horns are behind headlights, then definitely check connections. Thumbs Up LANDYWATCH
