Hi all.
Can anyone tell me if fitting a set of 130 (or 110HD) dampers to the rear of my 110 is a good idea? My thoughts being, they are OE, but perhaps more beefy than the standard 110 - and they have come at the right price. What I don't want to do is make the ride any more crashy at the back end, and I am considering replacing the commercial purple/brown springs with CSW White/green/green in the future. All advice gratefully accepted. Dan |

On my 110 Td5 SW the rear original springs were starting to get tired plus the amount of weight in there the rear was a good 2" lower at the towball. I put 130 inner springs on the rear, new take off standard shocks and it transformed mine, the rear has been lifted to standard height and the ride is quite tidy. I know there is a fair bit of weight in the back still as it never runs "empty" but having the weaker original springs as well as the stronger helpers I feel that even empty the ride wouldn't be too harsh.
