130 Shock absorbers on rear of 110. Good or bad idea?

Hi all.

Can anyone tell me if fitting a set of 130 (or 110HD) dampers to the rear of my 110 is a good idea?

My thoughts being, they are OE, but perhaps more beefy than the standard 110 - and they have come at the right price.

What I don't want to do is make the ride any more crashy at the back end, and I am considering replacing the commercial purple/brown springs with CSW White/green/green in the future.

All advice gratefully accepted.

On my 110 Td5 SW the rear original springs were starting to get tired plus the amount of weight in there the rear was a good 2" lower at the towball. I put 130 inner springs on the rear, new take off standard shocks and it transformed mine, the rear has been lifted to standard height and the ride is quite tidy. I know there is a fair bit of weight in the back still as it never runs "empty" but having the weaker original springs as well as the stronger helpers I feel that even empty the ride wouldn't be too harsh.
