Fuel gauge light blown- replacement?
Hey everyone,

Much to my annoyance my fuel gauge light no longer illuminates which leads me to believe it has blown.

Does anyone have a good guide showing its replacement procedure?

Is for a Factory standard 200Tdi Dash.

Thank you in advance!

Pretty simple - there are 4 screws holding the instrument panel on. (Two bottom, two side, it looks like there are more, but they don't hold it on)

Then pull the panel out far enough to get to the back of the gauges, and the light plug just slides out, then you pull the bulb.

Smashing Very Happy

Will drop past halfords and get a replacement tomorrow and then should be able to fit in the evening.

Try replacing (and the other bulbs) with LED bulbs (available on ebay). Just done the ones on my 90, amazing difference, can actually clearly read gauges at night now!! 1959 Series 2 Ragtop

If you're going down the led route, I can recommend the seller fizzmo on eBay, always been happy with their service. Good quality LEDs too Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
