Daft Newbie Question -
Spotted this oil on the offside front wheel, should I be concerned, from reading various posts is it a breather issue or wheel bearing or something more serious. Cant see any initial causes, such as from the hub area?

Have a look to see if the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir has dropped. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Spudfan - just checked brake fluid, all OK filled up to top

Gum97 - I think so, as I have only done a few hundred miles, hard to tell, problems with being a newbie.

Whip the wheel off and take a photo of the centre of the hub. Chances are and taking your photos into consideration that's where your issue may lie. It may be as simple as replacing a paper gasket.

As k9 said maybe hub gasket or the center rubber caps are renowned for splitting Thumbs Up take the wheel off and you'll spot it straight away Mr. Green CSK Automotive
