In the same vein as the cobblers kids with no shoes , the FCX 90 interior has been on the back boiler for a while as we've had a LOT of customers work to do, however yesterday there was a bit of a gap so the front seats were started

A fantastic response to the unveiling of the FCX 90 interior at Billing this weekend with many saying it was not only the best of the show but infact the best they'd ever seen, made all the hard work and long hours worthwhile !
Below are a few pictures: The 'de rigueur' double DIN sized Alpine head unit featuring the FCX logo (we can put a picture of the family dog on if required) Click image to enlarge The sound system was designed for us by experts in the In Car Entertainment industry and features Hertz and Audison components along with a digital sound processor to achieve the perfect 'image' and those at the show who asked for a demo will tell you just how amazing it sounds ! Click image to enlarge A mixture of red and black leather with silver and black stitch - we've used this combination before on a Beadles Land Rover demonstrator and it looks fab with the Firenze paintwork Click image to enlarge Another first from FCX, switches moved from the dash as part of the double DIN conversion set into the cubby box (note the hazard switch in the cup holder) using our bespoke loom, eliminates having to cut a big hole in the dash and allows you to return the vehicle to standard at resale time if required Click image to enlarge This is a shot of the Hertz subwoofer box fitted to the rear door, again unique to FCX. You can also see the factory bulkhead removal bar trimmed in leather Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Thank you
To be honest, it's not designed to appeal to all, the purpose is to generate interest and promote discussion. I doubt we'll trim more than a couple of vehicles to this level in the next year, it's more a way of showing everything we do and allowing customers to pick and choose how much (or how little they) they want. |

Thank you Chocolate
No, no vibrations what so ever. We spent a considerable amount of time and effort ensuring that the audio in this Defender is as good as it can get for the budget (which was £5k) and I believe we've achieved that |

Thank you guys
Custom Steve, we have an Alpine double DIN head unit feeding a five channel amp with Hertz sound processor, 3.5" midrange in standard dash position, tweeters in standard dash position, 6" subs in front of seat box and Hertz boxed sub on back door. Sound is crystal clear and with the aid of the processor the image is exactly where it should be. The package was designed for us by the same company that put Twisted's package together but we've taken it up a notch (or three). Come and listen to it at Peterborough, this isn't a 'sub box' bolted behind the seats jobby |

Matt,
You have any pics to share? What's the size of the subwoofer attached on the rear door? |
