Bear with me... I am 10,000 miles from my car and it's going to be real hard to describe the problem / question.
So, when I bought the 2005 90, the private vendor noted that right in the centre of the bulkhead, in the engine bay, at the top near the windescreen, is a standard clip plug electrical connector with I think 2 wires from memory. And, if disconnected, isolates the - something - to prevent starting. I remember this vaguely; I drive the car 1,200km from Switzerland to leave with a friend of a friend for 3 months, I lift the bonnet, say brightly I'll disconnect here as well .. I let the wire dangle .. ... and fuel appears to trickle down. !? Just a bit. Then stops. Well I'm 24 hrs late already and can't stop to smell, poke, prod, worry. Whatever it is will still be there in 3 months. What was it? Is it possible? Was I dreaming? What is the electrical connector? And, might there be any implications in 3 months time? Just wondering, and have a nice summer while I am working down under. Sold the much modified 110 2.8, in Oz Brought the 90 home from Switzerland ... |

Thanks for the explanation of the connector, sounds good to me, and makes sense, Land Rover would design it to serve a dual purpose as a water bucket. I'll relax down under and confidently start it in 3 months time.. Ta. Sold the much modified 110 2.8, in Oz
