Hey Richard!! A Land Rover owner with low blood pressure? You obviously have'nt had enough breakdowns lately.Grumpy old men like me have constant high blood pressure.

Try 24 days in hospital, 10 of which were in a medical induced coma. Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to  us off.

Sorry to hear that.
My mother has had low blood pressure ever since being in a coma for 6 weeks (5 years ago). She had high blood pressure before. Makes you wonder... Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

My other half has always had very low blood pressure and has medication to raise it and prevent her from keeling over.
On a totally different note; Human nature and the need of some to pass comment on absolutely everything. It is always interesting to observe that many of the least experienced, least qualified have more to say on a given subject than those who may have actually been there and done it. Steve. Sold my uncles wheels on ebay from a last second bid then 20 mins later I got a message from the bidder saying "oops I made a mistake and don't want the wheels"

What I'm finding more and more is that it's those with a little experience and a little bit of knowledge that cause the most trouble. Those with no clue at all don't seem to step in, and those with experience tend to look before they leap. Might be a peculiarity of the work I do tho'. 2009 110 XS Station Wagon |

Ah the battery terminal spanner size. When I was young and being tutored by a time served fitter I would be boll***d up hill and down dale if I didn't have my ¼" open ended Whitworth spanner to hand and that has stuck with me for years, 13mm is just too big and ½" AF is just too tight. Now there's all sorts of battery terminal fixings.

Sat queuing behind a woman at a petrol station, and she goes in. She then comes out. She sits in the drivers seat but does not move off for a reasonable period of time. I jump out to see what the matter is, and she's doing a scratchcard on her steering wheel!!
 The verbal that came next was not befitting of a 70+ year old. An engine to TDi for!
