Finally got around to replacing the land rover front and rear badges because the warranty body shop didn't know where the rear badge was supposed to be and placed it about six inches too high.
I've replaced them with the black and silver supercharged badges which I think looks better on a black 110 SW
Ive had the badges sat here since September lol.

Two weeks ago I set myself a target, having just come out of hospital at the time and unable to even climb into the 110 with out a set of steps I aimed to drive by today.

Well with a lot of nerves and determination I sat in the drivers seat with my wife along side I spent thirty minutes going round an industrial estate, then with encouragement from the wife drove home.
50 mph felt so fast, the steering reminded me of the days prior to power assisted steering and the clutch well I though that I was going to have use two feet.

Its only a small step but I am so pleased with myself. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place,
so it doesn't take much to Censored us off.

I spent the afternoon at the Land Rover Spring Adventure in Harrogate. Absolutely cracking day for it - glorious sunshine the whole day. Quite enjoyed having a wander around with my Dad having a look at the various Defenders on display. But in many ways more enjoyable just to be out in the 90 with plenty of Defenders around and lots of waves. Very enjoyable drive over and home again in the glorious sunshine. Certainly not the biggest show, but had a nice atmosphere about it I thought, although some of the stand-holders didn't seem particularly forthcoming. Maybe struggling in the heat! 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

SkyFallSilver,

How do you find the sound with the SWE 1200? Are there any rattles from interior trim pieces when the subwoofer is working?

Was the installation process straightforward?

Over this weekend, I wired in my LED reversing/work lamp using one of the illuminated LR auxiliary light switches and also installed my Land Reiziger headlight loom. First impressions are favourable!

Installing the loom was a breeze. I extended the 12V+ feed into the battery box of my 2.2 130 and ran the 12V- feed to the AC compressor, like ericvv.

Vincent, that looks a great mod. Where did you get the panels/controller from..?

Cheers

C'mon Rory - Where was the top picture taken? I'm really struggling and I'm sure I've driven through that place.

Very straight forward, no rattling because I put a small "spongy" material "black" under the subwoofer so that no metallic sounds come out. 2016 Defender 90 Adventure Edition

Hi Simon,

I bought the panels and controller as a set of a Dutch webshop (the website is in Dutch, let me know if you need help with translation). The panels are 60 W in total, so a couple of hours sunshine should be enough for the need of the coolbox, which uses approx. 175 W per 24 hrs. Cheers, Vincent
