if you want to get under land rover while on stands I would not go for folding , the legs are very thin metal and I have seen one buckle
I have been under a land rover laying flat on my back when a land rover (discovery) somehow went side ways and came off the axle stands , it was on four stands but were at full extension , the gearbox cross member bounced down as it landed on the floor just touching my chest ,luckily all 4 wheels were still on it , if no wheels it would have been a different story it was one of them moments went it all seems to move slowly and you think "mmm is this it " yes they were folding ones but heavy duty ones my advice is go for solid ones with a wide base and longer then you need , and don't go full extension (it makes the stem loose in the tubes |
