What's this leaking
Spent yesterday taking the box out to change the clutch only to find I may be prudent to fit a recon box. But found the starter covered in oil. It appears it is coming from just above close to the manifold but I can't identify what and where. Can anyone shed any light especially what part is pictured

Is it oil or diesel? Your picture shows the fuel pressure regulator, which is well known for leaking. Darren

That'll be your fuel pressure regulator, you can get service kits with the "bowl"(pressure valve) to repair for £40 or less off t'internet. It is quite a simple job to do especially when you can see it. Also.take a look to see if there isn't a leak from the back of the rocker cover, there is a section on the very back with a semi-circle part that is prone to letting oil out, either a new seal or use some gasket seal like Blue Hylomar to sort that one out.

In that case, it's possibly the half moon shaped gasket at the back of the rocker cover. Darren
