Torque settings
Hi All,
I wonder if anyone out there has a torque setting for the filler plug on the gearbox and transfer (NOT the drain plug as the manual states the torque for this).
Also any suggestions for the axle drain/filler plug torque (if any) or is it 'chamfered'.
Welcome any suggestions.

On another matter, The 'original' radio has a clock facility which sometimes the clock tells the time and sometimes the screen says 'No Clock' - There is nothing in the manual about this? Any knowledge on this?

Transmission

Install the transmission filler plug and clean any oil residue from the surrounding area.
Tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb.ft).

Transfer

Install the transfer case filler plug and clean any oil residue from the surrounding area.
Tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb.ft).

One thing to check for - both my front and rear diff filler plug threads were nackered from the factory.

Have a close look - I had to file mine with a thread file to get a decent fit.

On the last two settings don't be surprised if you have to do a 'trolley check' for conkers even worse if you've had a night on the cider before.
