IF I wanted to strip the paint off the defender with a PETROL powered jet washer ie one with plenty of welly what would you recommend.
I've got an electric pocket sized karcher and have borrowed a 10 year old petrol jobbie and what a difference so it would appear I need to invest in a decent bit of kit ps gonna be used for cleaning patio's and garden furniture and (and possibly blasting the next door neighbour in the eye. budget £1000 - 1500. but would also be interested to know if you think spending more is necessary for the long term investment (don't want something that won't do the job and will be shot in 5 years. looking for cold only. |

don't bother with anything from karcher, we bought a k7 a month ago, washed one car before it broke, offered a replacement unit, that got half way through washing a car before going bang...

I've bought Yanmar Diesel and Honda power washers from www.jetmac.co.uk Excellent service and prices and no bullsh*t. Ships to anywhere.
If you want a flexible machine that will do anything and last a lifetime look at the Honda machines, the Yanmar is more expensive, too much for a domestic job Steve |
