There should be some, but minimal. More than likely its fine, not sure how to describe the expected play

Have a good look down the intake if all the blades look ok and corners are sharp all`s well you will get a small amount of end float its normal.
If you really want to check it remove the output hose on the pressure side or where access permits give everything a wipe rev it up a few times to purge system. Hold a sheet of white paper in front of output pipe about six niches away or so, rev it to 3000 rpm for a few seconds if your turbos passing excessive oil it will be blasted all over the paper, no oil good turbo if it looks like its been shot by a spray can turbo nackard easy and cheap test may put engine management light on for boost fault. |
