That looks fantastic
![]() I bet it will let in less water than my old 90 hardtop. ![]() Great job in pursuing your vision and not following the crowd. I'm considering an Exmoor Trim canopy to replace the factory plastic jobbie on my 130; I'd appreciate it if you could let me know (via pm if you prefer) what problems you've had with the hood. |

Ronin- dropped you a pm ![]() James there the terrafirma copies, evo course dakar's Haha Chris, it will be at the shows if i dont see you before to have a good look, will have to get you to have a look about some other leather bits, once ive sorted some other things out ![]() Great thing about defenders and what i like is there completely acceptable to modify, where if i'd of got something like an m3 its not so much so. Ive only driven it a couple of times but seems to get favorable comments from all ages. ![]() |

That looks absolutely fantastic!
is there any feedback on the tailgate hinges? Do they rattle, I thought there may be an issue with the top right hinged clip retainer - hinging the wrong way with the tailgate latched creating a gap - or is it a one way hinge ? |

Grouse.
The tailgate hinges seem to work perfectly. Im currently having a stainless pin and larger bolt fabricated to make a tighter fit on the bottom though, this should eliminate any rattles and is something ive also told purely metal that make it which they are currently looking at. (with regards to the noise I wouldn't notice as am now death at anything above 30mph with the soft top anyway ![]() ![]() |

Terrafirma have rebranded the Evo Corse Dakar. They're not copies of the Blindo (Made by Arcasting), just a different design. Just look at the number of people who are racing on them in the Dakar. The Blindo are arguably stronger because they have a steel insert at the wheel nut. They are tested to a greater capacity. www.td5.org |
