a couple we travelled with in Norway last winter did just that, they packed up and came with us to Norway, then headed off to Russia and ended up in Oz... took about 10 months, a great write up on the expo portal.

I’d love to do it, ditch the stress of the job and everyday life and off you go. I’d skydive around the world and be a bum for a while. Not sure my wife and kids would agree with that though.

To compensate I’ll continue to work myself to the bone and enjoy as many holidays as possible. Nick

I certainly wish I could. Oh to win the lottery and buy that log cabin in the woods and never be seen again, what bliss that would be. Laughing 2011 110 USW

Go for it! You only live once, right?
I always loved and craved to travel...Been backpacking all over the globe.
I started overlanding to the sahara in 2005. Was hooked. Learned how to scuba dive in 2010, hooked again...
Now I guide people on trips and I am a scuba instructor since this year. I am leaving to work in Iceland from june until september. I have two more years of payment on my very modest house in Antwerp, then I'm going to for it for real...
read about my travels and check out the pictures here:

Well after leaving the last paid job, I spent about 5 years having many trips around Europe in the red 110, interspersed with trips to the far east and South and Central America.

Then spent 8 months driving around Australia in the red 110 covering 25,000 miles most of it off bitumen.

Since then started our own business and that whilst in many ways is enjoyable does curtail the travelling somewhat.
