2001 Defender 110 Td5 CSW Java Black
^ fully agree having covered many miles in series vehicles I've had to carry out a few running repairs at times and carry a few basic tools and consumables it's all part of the ownership and experience. Personally I would try to get going or sort the problem myself than wait for the likes of the aa or rac. 2001 TD5 110 County Station Wagon - sold

For what it's worth, my bonnet had been painted under the original hinges and so no touching up was needed.

if im paying over 100 quid for something I would like it to be the right size , yes I could touch up , paint whole bonnet or make a gasket
but then mines locked down anyway so doesn't effect me anyway
