Hmmh...they're similar to the ones I've been using (ratcheting), I suppose I'll do them with pliers! Confused An engine to TDi for!

I do quite a bit of crimping of various types of cable end at work and wouldn't want to use anything other then my large drawer of ratchet crimps for the small stuff. For really big things there are better options but I don't do much above 16mm2 day to day.

You can get non ratcheting crimpers, but whether they exist for non insulated terminals I don't know.

Why not just solder the wires on to the terminals or use soldered joints and heat shrink.
No corrosion no lose wires quick and easy.
You`ll find everything in the durite catalog or a good reason for a trip to maplins, more toys Very Happy
