Stargazing
Currently I'm up a big hill in the blackness , freezing my Bo**cks off with my Steiners pointing towards the stars.
The whole of the milky way is out and it's truly awesome .
Jupiter And it's 3 moons , Sirius , Capella and I can even spot Uranus although it's pretty low .
I'm keepin an eye open for the auroraborialis And the occasional passing space ship Thumbs Up

Oh c'mon , my iPhone has it's limitations Rolling with laughter I could sit on the roof rack , that extra little height might just make all the difference .
Although I could get a close up of my frost bitten fingers

At last a result . A Meteorite . Whilst watching skyward last week right in my eye line . Bright white with a long trialling tail at 45 degrees for only 1.5 seconds . Amazing to see .
And yes I'm talking to the wife again .

Nice to see that some Defender owners also like stargazing.
I have a 8" telescope that I use every time that I go to the farm.

Very nice views of Jupiter, mars and some hints like the 47 Tucanae and the Orion nebula during the southern summer.

Cheers Eduardo

A bit off the stargazing more of a shoe gazer myself (taste in music I think ride etc)
When I was off on works corse the other week I got to see the joderal bank radio telescope, wow its big, I did `ent realise how big it is till I stood looking at it when a guy stoped and parked a tractor under it !!!

but still love the program and the sky at night just wished I understood what they were on about.
