Clear sky tonight , Mars is clearly visible , large and orange .
Although I'm sure I seen a plume of green gas shooting out in the direction of Earth Shocked

Stood out in my back garden the other night just after 9 p.m and watched the international space station cross the sky from west to east. 2005 Td5 90 XS

When it's a clear night I quite like to grab my pillow and sleeping bag and sleep outside on the patio.

Fall asleep under the stars, wake up and see how they've moved.

People think I'm mad but for 99% I sleep in a bed inside which isn't natural or special

There seems to be a massive hang up about sleeping without a roof

Iss seen tonight at 22:00(ish),will be visible tomorrow (Saturday)about 21:01 looking south WEST.Will be an obvious, bright, white (not flashing and brighter than most other stars/planets)dot moving fairly quick (18000mph Rolling Eyes ) across the sky,so visible for a minute or more depending on when it disappears into the earths shadow.

Edited to add;Shuda said South West,doh! Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Photographing the ISS has been a little hobby of mine recently. Here it is over our village earlier this week.

This was my first successful attempt. I tried to look out for the 'dragon' spaceship last night. It was supposed to be docking on the ISS but it was too light to see it.

I use the ISS spotter app on my iphone/ipad

Currently lying in our Howling Moon Stargazer roof tent, listening to the crickets, and looking at the stars. Good view of the Milky Way tonight and Mars has been really clear for a few days now. All just viewed with the naked eye, no scopes. But all very pretty and interesting!

Current location is 125km south of Broome, Western Australia, about 200 metres from the Indian Ocean. Was about 36 degrees earlier, but a bit cooler now, thankfully! Very Happy Our blog - http://landytravels.com/

Spent last night in a Bivvy bag at 500m in West Wales.

No light pollution and the sky was epic, saw ISS go over and plenty of satelites. Woke up to frost on my bag which is the price you pay for such clear skys at height.
