Puma glove box
Hi all,
Ive been looking at the puma glove box made by raptor engineering.
Anybody here fitted one as i'm wondering what the quality and fit is like.
Cheers.

I fitted the MUD one, quality was good and I'm assuming that they're all pretty much one and the same. Cost about £55 all in, so if the raptor one is much more then I probably would think twice about paying any more?

They look very similar to me.

Mud however has a full width hinge, and their delivery is the best I've ever used. Always arrives next day and you get a text first thing in the morning giving you an hour slot for delivery. Cheers, David

The MUD one is manufactured by Mobile Storage Systems and is easily the best on the market, we buy direct from MSS for our leather clad glove box kits Thumbs Up

This forum truely is the font of all knowledge!

I'll go for the MUD one. Glad I didn't just go to a certain midlands LR parts company who want £10 more for a possibly inferior item.

I was disappointed with the MUD one - it doesn't latch when closed. and there is a gap at the back where dust can get in... Confused --

No, mine (just fitted) doesn't latch either. Are they actually supposed to? Series 2A 88, 1976 - 1980

It doesn't latch? Are you serious? Is there no panco catch or cupboard type latch?
