Women who believe in their ability to multi task.

Yes women might be able to multi task better then men.

However driving a motor vehicle is one of those tasks which requires single task concentration.

IF it is so important to make that phone call on a hand held phone, STOP the bloody car.

Saw three women on phone whilst driving yesterday, and I only drove about 10 miles yesterday. Going up a steep winding hill, stupid idiot on phone coming down hill out of control on my side of the road. Euro box against a 110 with a big winch mounting system on the front, euro box will lose. Dry stone wall on her side of road holding up the field would also win against a poxy eurobox. OK metal can be scrapped/repaired it is not so easy to repair people.

A friend of mine was first on the scene when a mother found her dead daughter in the back of her car after an accident caused by her using her mobile .. It's just not worth it

Landlord insurance company's that you select carefully after researching what they offer, only to be told that your boiler broke down because when installed it wasn't flushed out properly so they won't pay Twisted Evil how is the average person supposed to know if the boiler was flushed out properly when installed??? Then the said insurer rubs salt in the wound by putting out an avert on tv saying "if your a landlord and your boiler breaks down, we'll repair or replace it quickly without any fuss" Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Deep breaths!!!

I didn't want that £1300 anyway Rolling Eyes

Just got a renewal quote from a roadside recovery organisation which use orange coloured vans.

They only want a mere £318.41.

Now this is the so called recovery organisation which left us stranded for 5 hours. Now we were in a rather remote location. Road is know as the Great North Road or the A1 at the southern end.

Hmm yes I am really going to rush out and part with our hard earned cash to line their velvet lined pockets.

I wonder what fees other people are paying for 2 people to be get cover by the recovery organisations?

Why oh why when I get a puncture is it cold and peeing down with rain?

Why can't it be hot, sunny, a nice view and a safe place to change a wheel?

Elderly single lady neighbour who we have "looked after" for 10 years (cleared her snow, taken food when sick, invited for tea, always chatted to for hours when she was bored) who didn't see fit to inform us that she had sold 1/2 her garden so they could build a Censored huge house right next to us. We only found out when we got home from work and there were diggers everywhere!!!

I know we rent out house (did I mention 10 years?) so we have no control over these things and I know our landlord should have said something but I believe it was just common decency as our neighbour for her to warn us.

She was in the garden the following morning and when I asked her why she hadn't even mentioned it to us in recent conversations, after pretending to be confused ("poor little old lady") for a while, she then looked me squarely in the eye and said her grandson had sorted everything out. She then added with a scowl (I've never seen that look before) that she "didn't need our permission" anyway.

Next time there's snow and ice everywhere and the old cow breaks a hip I won't be shedding a tear Evil or Very Mad Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Dancing..........
After gentle persuasion which has been ongoing for a looong time I have capitulated and started ballroom dancing. Only been doing it for a few weeks and it is so frustrating.. We are learning waltz, slow step, quick step, cha cha cha etc and not having done anything like this before my head and feet seem to be dis-connected at times.

Starting to enjoy it but very frustrating at the same time so my manly sports now include LR's, shooting and dancing.....what a mixture.

Wish me luck I have to go to my first ball next week. Thud BM52
