The defender ownership that is. Picked her up for a bargain on 22 February. Pretty bog standard when I got her, but anyone who knows me will assume she won't stay that way for long.
Now I've worked out how to post photos (even though my eight year old had to help) there will be more to follow.

Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Mr. Green  It wasn't me!

Most of what is needed is going on this weekend. Roof rack and lights, winch bumper, winch and lights, lift kit, new boots - well the nearly new boots of the dead Disco. Soooo, weather/enthusiasm permitting, and as long as I'm not ripping the other one apart for bits to sell, it should look a lot different by Monday morning.

Then I need to work out how to use me new camera (goes off looking for a far too intelligent 8 year old). It wasn't me!

Posh git, you've got air con then, couldn't quite get too basic after the Disco then Whistle Are you going to be putting those tall tyres on then?

Is the air on the two flappy things under the heated windscreen?
And what's the "TC" light that comes on when the wheels start spinning? Dunno what it is, but they don't spin for long Laughing . It wasn't me!

You want to have a read of the other thread running at the moment about switching off the TC, yours will be like mine and will react a little different to the Disco.

I take it the fascination of aircon in a defender was too much for mrs Ozzy57 then... Rolling with laughter

How did you get on with your list of mods over the weekend, or were you too busy extracting the mrs's finger from the aircon vent...... Mark S
