Genius at towing
We now have 2 company pumas replacing a 4.2 V8 with high torgue cam and a 200hp TD5, both used for launching a fleet of boats. We used to have a tractor for a couple of bigger boats but not any more! What an amazing tow vehicle.

I absolutely love that colour. Looks slightly military, without being olive drab. Definitely the colour I would go for if I could ever afford a new Puma (they're about 60000 euros round here!).

Shame about the boat though, don't you think? If I'd had our 8m RIB on the back it would look a LOT better! Razz

Although a South African colleague on a yacht I'm consulting on might win this one!

Yammy 250. That boat's just been sold and we've replaced with a Ribeye 785 again with a 250. We do commercial work so wanted coding for 12 seats so this hopefully the start of a fleet. I also run a Brig 6.3 with a 150 Evinrude direct injection 2 stroke, a surprisingly superb combo.

It's OK, neither do we!

Sorry, that turned into a bit of a geekfest...

We love our ribeye, but the 785 with the 250 yammy gets through 1.7l of fuel for every nautical mile she covers. which equates to about 3.5mpg. the 600 does just fine for us Laughing 110 Tdci Double Cab

the 225 on mine is 2 stroke, flat she'll do 48kts, but its like tipping fuel in to the engine with a bucket, about 1.9l pkm.
so when the "green people" tell me why do i drive such an un-enviromently car, i tell them "compared to my rib its very eco !! Mr. Green

Public fuel barge in Dartmouth is about 1.70 a litre at the moment. better off dragging out the boat and taking it to the petrol station. worked it out to be £120 more expensive to fill the 785 from the barge. 110 Tdci Double Cab
