I've just fitted a Mantec one. But you have do waterproof it. So seal the air box and pipes and also silicone where it mounts on the wing

Thanks for that, one of my worries had been the affect on visibility when looking right say at a roundabout, in the pictures the mantec seems to stick further forward than the Safari one.

Is it just for show or are you planning on going wading?
Just a word of caution that if you have water up to the intake then the ecu will be in severe danger as it is mounted on the bulkhead and as far as I know can't be moved on the pumas. |

I like the Safari personally, and it's designed for purpose. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Its more of just in case so that I can go a little deeper without worrying too much, as I am sure you know sometimes its deeper than you thought. I have seen an ECU relocation loom, not sure if it was for the Puma though.
I have seen people end up in holes that being full of water with one wing under water tipped at 45 degrees and the air intake under the water line, so it is more of a worth while extra protection. 2008 Defender 110 XS CSW Volvo S60 T8 Triumph 1200 Rally Explorer G0UBX |

Has be be a standard LR for me...
Visibility is marginally worse - about another 25% - e.g. take what you can't see now because of the post and add another Qtr... Not much more. Click image to enlarge |

Matthew, Ive just purchased a genuine Land Rover one like your for my next defender (at a particularly bargain price ) Could you tell me how it secures to the wing. Do holes have to be drilled like I have done with safari ones in the past? Cheers Tom Defender puma dormobile camper |

Two holes drilled in the A post into which a bolt cuts it's own thread... Then two holes drilled in the wing with Rivnuts inserted - they are like a captive nut crossed with a rivet! See in striations below: - Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |
