thank you everyone! she meant the world to us.

over night she was put on the seate. her favorite place to sleep and i sure it was the most peaceful sleep last night. was really hard as she laid there and she looked like she was just sleeping.

this mornings job was to say our final good bye and to bury her. wrapped her in my favorite coat which she use to sleep just, so apart of me can always be with her. very hard to say goodbye.

our neighbors even came round crying. when she use to escape, she use to go next door and play with there dog. was a beautiful sight.

even as i write this, i cant stop crying.

maybe one day we shall meet again. Big Cry

thank you.

Landy novice I can sympathies with you over the loss of your dog about 10 years ago we lost 2 in a month one of them belonging to my oldest daughter who lives in Hong Kong. It was bloody heart breaking to call Claire in the early hours of the morning and inform her that Oscar man had passed away. We now have 3 generations of Springer Spaniel and a G S D. To stabilise things. Time is supposed to a great healer I am here 10 years later with tears rolling down my cheeks.
I am totally lost without my dog's some might say that's sad but that's the way it is with us. Please don't despair there's a rescue dog looking for you. Here's the gang.
Don't know why this site turnx things through 90 degrees

Well with so much energy you have to have some calming effect Cassie does her best to keep the Spaniels in check.

absolutly not! imho if people say its sad, then they clearly dont understand! dogs just become apart of us. great photo of yours. Thumbs Up

tooka, 17 years, wow! great age. lots of memories there! we only had our 5 years but in that time, we just got closer and closer.

she was just a ball of energy and vibes, always excited to see you. but today left the house for a few hours and as soon as i got back i just began to well up. although we have 2 other dogs. the house seems dark and empty. and almost like its not our home anymore. and i almost felt like i should leave again. its amazing how a dog affects us.

but last night i still threw a coat on the floor for her.. i just still want her to be with me. but do i do it as a routine? or just because she still here as a spirit or i cant face the facts that she has gone. Big Cry
