Shocked €50!!!!!! I paid £5 for mine, granted it was second hand but it still works fine.

That's not bad for a new VAG relay, I paid £42 in the UK. And yes a great mod so many thanks to the guys on this forum who discovered which one to use Bow down 90 & Wolf

£1 is all I paid. Thumbs Up

Had to go to local scrap-dealer today as have a couple of minor modifications on the go. I priced up this relay from Breeze my local VW dealer and when told the price I immediately binned the idea.
Once I'd sourced what I was after at the scrappies I had a flit round the VWs and eventually found one with the relays still fitted. At the princely sum of £1 it must be a Billy Bargain....

Indeed a good find, I however was not able to find one at any of the local scrap yards hence conceding and purchasing a new one. Rolling Eyes 90 & Wolf

I struck lucky I got a short 99 and a long 99 both at the same time. If you know where to look there are many different marques of vehicles and relays that will do the same job....A lot of people seemed to have cottoned on to this easy modification and admittedly most of the scrap VWs I looked round the relays had gone. Think mine came from a Saab if memory serves me correctly.
