Have you actually investigated it properly? It may just be dislodged or not quite in shape. Just a thought before you go and get some without really needing them.

Thanks everyone for the help in locating the name of this clip.
I did check, figured at first that the trim just worked loose, but the top clip appears to have snapped in half. Once this is sorted there will be one less rattle in the 110 to deal with, on to the next mysterious noise... |

They are actually cable clips, used for clipping cable to steel beams of angle. Two of mine snapped, went to local electrical factors and got them for free, as it would cost more in paper than the items. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

Hi all...
So, the clips came in the post, and turns out they're a bit too small. The fact that the pic was posted next to a ruler of some sort should've been enough to clue me in, but... Did a bit more research, and found BTR6682 - these appear to be the same clips that I have - perhaps mine are a bit longer. The thing is... how on earth do you re-attach the trim piece with these things? It can't be rocket science, but the answer eludes me. If I insert them into the brackets in the trim and try to force them back on to the rail that makes up the structure around the window, they just get pushed all the way back in the bracket and close - too tight to fit anything in. Maybe I'm using the wrong part? Yes... I could take the other trim piece off and have a look, but I'm afraid that my remaining good clips will also spring off into the ether. * doh, think I just found them - they might be mwc6204.... ah never mind - same part. |

I do think the BTR6682 is the right part number for the rear quarter windows. I unfortunately have a brain full of Land Rover part numbers.
As for the fitting side that isn't my speciality but that's definitely the number! Sorry I can't be more help. |

Try putting them on the window structure first then pushing the trim on

Hi - was doing that, but the wrong way, finally dawned on me how to do it.
Sometimes things are so simple that I can't grasp the concept, I was thinking there had to be more to it than that! Doh... a real Homer Simpson feeling. |
