I can't help you with a figure mate but just wanted to say this is my favourite truck on here. So much time and cost out into it. Sad times indeed but I hope you find a buyer as enthusiastic as yourself to look after it.

I can easily bolts of some of the mods and get some cash but I think its worth a go selling as is first, I am just trying to establish a realistic figure. Currently has 25k miles, no damage what so ever, £27k?

Yes I seen that one, they will take 20k for it. I am not in a panic so I think some good current pictures and a well written advert is best with all the bits still on it. If that fails then i can strip it down.

Your 'drive' to modify your vehicle is very similar to my own. It must have been a real 'soul searching' decision for you to make the final one to sell.
May I enquire 'What Next?' Good luck with the sale...... If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Yes has not been easy but just too much cash tied up in it for just myself to use. Have a July build on a FFRR to transport everyone!

Sadly when being modified its a very personal experience & requirement & when we come to sell you never get anywhere near what it is worth to you & you have the added disadvantage of being in Northern Ireland which probably restricts your market even more.
To maximise your return you may be better off trying to sell on a sale or return basis with one of the more specialist land rover dealers who is more likely to maximise the return on the vehicle as they are a magnet for land rover buyers whilst making a few quid for themselves. Obviously need to ensure you have a water tight deal if you go this route. As a private individual I think you may struggle to get £27k for it even though in my eyes its worth every penny. You could properly swop out seats & wheels & tyres & take the winch off the front that will probably get you circa £3k but will make probably less than £1k difference to the selling price. Wish you the best of luck but know from personal experience that mods can sometimes reduce the appeal to others especially a winch as peps often think its been abused as its got a winch so must have done some extreme stuff to need one, even though most are used very occasionally & usually to help others not recover yourself. Wish you the best of luck on a vehicle that has been part of the inspiration behind my modifications 2020 P300 HSE |

I think its a case of keeping a cool head. A day or 2 in the work shop would easily strip in down. I would probably leave the rear seats and it's a nice bonus.
Part off would be: Twisted wheels Winch and bumper ( although I would need to find a centre grille replacement) so might leave it Jw speaker headlights Led indicators Kbx intakes Hannibal rack Jw speaker tw3500 and led bar Heated recaros / tip up bases Svx Gear knob Full Alive exhaust/decat and intercooler. Alcantara headlining and clarion DVD player although may leave it |

As is, I would agree at about £27k. It really is a lot of (fantastic) vehicle for that money! An engine to TDi for!

Haven't got access to the trade value so sorry.
I do think your price is about right , I've got my standard silver 2011 90 soft top at 19,500 with know where near the amount yours has had spent on it. Like you say is the best advice if your not in a rush im sure it will sell as still seems representative to the other extensively modified ones (I'd say yours is better than most though) Cheers Tom Defender puma dormobile camper |
