Hello,

Does anyone know about this parts:

I am sure I read in an article in a magazine in the news section about these, that they bolt to the chassis at the top, and need to be welded to the axel at the bottom. It did not mention any fitting restrictions in the article that I can remember.

I think the clue may be in their advertising "Accessories and Upgrades for Land Rover Vehicles" and the important note about 30 mm spacers being required for standard Land Rover alloys. There is also a drop down list of a multitude of countries you can contact Terrafirma product suppliers through. Below is the link for UK why not give them a call?

Hello,

My def has been fitted with Wolf rims and 235/85 16 Michelin O/R so I phoned to a french dealer and:
- The lower part doesn't need to be welded on the axle Thumbs Up
- He will give me an answer in 2 days if it can be fitted on my truck. Confused

I will tell you.

pay attn to the fuel filter location. For example those sold by llama4x4/gwyn lewis do not fit stright away and you need to chop the FFilter protection etc Puma 110" SW

The Devon 4x4 version needs the bottom mount welding Thumbs Up these are bolt on Thumbs Up

I would say that 98% of the time no. However if you are doing stuff in the desert at high speed then yes. CarlS (my sons) standard 110 crew cab suffered from 'hot' shocks racing a Tomcat across the desert in Morocco. When he pulled up at the end of the day the car took about 10 minutes to stop moving.

My problem is that we don't the same choice in shock than you have in europe. So I'd like to fit twin-shocks in the case I need to change it and I don't want to wait 1 mounth.

Could you explain why do you think it's a bad thing.

It's not necessarily a bad thing if you just want it. Wink

If you need it, then it means you are overloading your Defender, unless you drive uber bad gravel roads on an everyday basis for long periods of time.
