got a bit of white smoke from the old fender, so starting to check over basics first. whilst checking turbo hoses, the top one feels nice and firm but the bottom one is really soft! very very easy to squeeze together, is this normal? or is this known as a delaminated hose? cheers My 109 thread my youtube channel |

On a related note, if you're going to the trouble of changing hoses then it'd be an ideal time to clean out the interooler too - a very worthwhile bit of maintenance in terms of performance and efficiency.
There's a write-up about it HERE. It's about a 300tdi Discovery but the principle is exactly the same. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

More likely the timing is out slightly... Ian IRB The home of the first modified Keswick Green 90 - and the first 2.4 Puma through both the 200bhp and 550Nm barriers. www.IRBdevelopments.com www.facebook.com/irbdevelopments www.integrated316.com www.facebook.com/integrated316 |
