Hi Ray
I've got them fitted on mine, they slide up partly behind the inner arch so nothing can get round the back I suppose Its all clear on the instructions you can download though. Hope this helps, did you go for the wide mud flap brackets aswell? Cheers Tom Defender puma dormobile camper |

I fitted them - mainly to protect the front outriggers, and to reduce the crap being thrown up under the vehicle. A reasonably good mod for the price I thought, easy to fit too Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

Cheers for the info but I think my arch liners are different to the ones that allow this kit to be fitted. The open bit of the liner that the shield in the kit covers has an extra moulded bit on my liner like this

Yes your right it does look different, have you got a lower angle looking up shot? then I can go out and let you know.
If not might be worth giving them a call as seem very helpful. The other option might be cut a bit of the plastic out, although from those pictures it doesn't look a 'bit' Just went out and had a look and it is very different. I reckon you'll have to give them a ring and see or a bit of trimming first. cheers Tom Defender puma dormobile camper Last edited by SailingTom on 15th Jan 2014 5:44pm. Edited 1 time in total |

I've got them fitted on my defenders, simple, sensible mod.
But, did you know, some td5's have a "filled in" wheel arch as standard |

That must be what I have. @sailing tom I'll try and get a better pic in the light but it sounds like I may have to just get the bracket to move the mud flap going on what bpman has just posted.

Yeah looks like your right, either just the mud flap and leave the bit exposed or some cutting then. Id be tempted to just mount the mud flap. Just a tip I found it easier to fit with the nuts on the inside of the arch and made a fiddly job much easier Defender puma dormobile camper
