SHOUT BOX
Hi Martin, have you ever considered a Shout box on the site so we can all chat and have our say, without going into the posts... like a column at the side of the Home page ?.... Just a thought.?
Would anyone else like a Shout box to chat live to each other ? NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

The problem is that there's no record of what's said - if good info is discussed then it ends up "lost", not searchable etc etc.

The forums are quick enough to be able to use a thread to chat in, and I have no problem with you doing that Smile

Clock
Martin,

Whilst we have your ear, is it possible to have the site clock set to BST to accurately give posting times as for a simpleton like me it can be a little misleading? TVM! I posted this an hour before I realised I had! Rolling with laughter If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

I know I've just made a small correction to the post, but the instructions for the clock change are in http://www.defender2.net/forum/post619.html#619 - due to the fact that some countries do use daylight saving and some don't you have to change your own timezone Smile

I've not made a quick decision here, it was tried on DISCO3 a while back - didn't work for the reasons above plus some others to with moderation, etc.

As I said, the forum can be used in a similar way as I don't ban OT discussion, unlike other places Wink
