Always interested. I too browse the site all the time on my phone.
I can post without too much issue (so long as I've got good data signal). I used to use a BMW forum that had a low bandwidth version, which was quite handy, but I've not yet had problems here. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

Definitely not! The iPhone is neither a good phone or a good camera. Better to tape a filofax to an iPod! One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

I am soo old when it comes to all this but I hve a phone which easily slides into my pocket (don't have to carry in my hand all the time) and lasts for days on end between charges, have a mp3/4 player for when I want music on the go and I have a 10 Mpixel camera for when I want to take good pictures.
So, Why would I want a brick with 2000 apps that I would never use unless I am REALLY REALLY bored, have to charge it up on a daily basis then have to carry it in my had because I don't have pockets the size of a handbag and be too ashamed to take pictures with as they will turn out shabby...........just my 2p worth
What a difference to a sentence just misssing 1 letter makes!! Glyn Last edited by Glynparry25 on 8th Apr 2010 2:02pm. Edited 1 time in total |

A lot of people have been sceptics until they actually use the thing for a while. Then they're installing all kinds of applications and enjoying it with the rest of us. For instance there are apps for measuring track times and g-forces. Useful? Perhaps not. Fun? You bet.
The apps I use most is one for reading news over RSS feeds. Just sit in the bus or on a plane and read up on what's happening in the world. Another is for the Helsinki region public transport. I just click "I want home" and it tells me where to go, which bus, train or metro to take, when to change and when to get off. Brilliant. The iPhone is, by far, the best phone I've ever owned. While other phones might have had some features before, they were so difficult to use I never bothered. |

Yap yap yap. "Bloody new fangled nonsense - this 'car' thing. It'll never replace my horse: if I wanted a roof on my cart, I'd stay indoors; if I wanted to get somewhere quickly, I'd take the train. Why have something that weighs two tons, needs regular servicing and requires that I continuously visit a 'petrol station'? I'll stick to doing things as nature intended!"
