Australia 2006 Defender 110 Td5 SW Chawton White
Climair v Heko Wind Deflectors
Hi,

I am looking at a set of slimline wind deflectors for my 110.

Am after opinions of Climair ones versus another brand called Heko.

Are they pretty much the same or does one appear to be better than the other?

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and all the best for New Year. Very Happy

Can only comment on the Climair ones.
Bought them some time back and have been really impressed. They are dead easy to fit (takes longer to clean the glass than it does to fit them) and in operation they seem to do all they claim. My wife also has a set on her Freelander and says very much the same. ONE LIFE, GET IT!

Thanks mate, Very Happy

Have currently sent a email to first four.co.uk and paddocks to get quotes for postage to me here in Oz.

Am more than likely going to get them as I am sick of the noise and wind buffeting when I am driving with my windows open Rolling Eyes

As they're so easy to fit, why aren't they so easy to steal? Or are they? Series 2A 88, 1976 - 1980

Because you'd need to have the window open to remove them. Darren

Yep Climair for me and they really are very good...

I do a lot of essex green lanes that are like driving hard against a hedge line for miles on end and the Climair deflectors have held up just fine (I was skeptical at first) I thought they may break but they actually have a very slim profile and are very robust!

You need only two tools in life: WD-40 and duct tape.
If it doesnt move and it should: WD-40.
If it moves and shouldnt: duct tape it.

Next really daft question: If you open the window(s), what's to stop them falling (being sucked) out?

p.s. I love extras but hate spending money. Series 2A 88, 1976 - 1980
