Probably transfer to the DVLA / Police over here, then probably be in a deeper hole than the one you are originally in. Chillin In The Backwoods🇬🇧🇺🇸

The cheap one we got from Lidl is great easy to use ect, grandkids grown up a bit now but we still use it for the dogs, except the Rotty cross can clear it in one when she wants to. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

/\ /\ /\ that brings back memories, my youngest is now about 6'. Whatever you do they always manage at some point to fall/slide down the stairs. Heart in mouth time but they never seem to hurt themselves just cry because of the shock I think.

Good luck BM52

Getting more than a little racked off with buying odd things off fleabay and them not being delivered. Four items in the past month, granted I've got my money back off paypal but it's wasted a whole load of time, first trawling through to get the items in the first place then the hanging about waiting for the postie as you don't know if they've got to be signed for or the regular Postie Pat isn't on and the relief one just takes it back to the sorting office which means a trip back to town for no other reason than to pick up a parcel from staff that would be better off working as a cross between fast food operatives and nightmare doctors receptionists.
Then it's back to finding a replacement and hope that gets delivered.

20mph speed limits, anyone else think it's done to a standard a bit over the top?
I wouldn't mind if it was through shorter sections of road where really required but extended for miles and miles?.... Thud Banging Head Chillin In The Backwoods🇬🇧🇺🇸

^^^

Dunstable is now completely 20 mph limits except for A5.

I would love to know how many accidents there were between 20 mph and 30 mph that meant that this was an essential safety improvement!

Been chasing my tail with this one and getting nowhere. We have a nice big woodburner in the house, but I am after a nice fan to blow the eat out of the room and into the stairwell. Easy peasy, a mate has a nice Honeywell fan, perfect for the job, looks good and reasonably priced.
Hunt the net for it, 90% are available from the US, rest are expensive retailers. Homebase has it listed at £70, perfect. Pop round to Homebase, none in stock. Helper (?) doesn't know when they'll be back in stock. So go home back to the internet. Have a lok and it appears no branch in the UK has 1 in stock. Go figure. So call the store back up to try and order 1. Sorry only internet orders but as they are part of thre same group, Argos might have it as well. Apparently Homebase carry the stock on the webpage but don't actually stock it.
So have a look at the Argos webpage, same pic and description as Homebase. But again something else in common, not 1 store in the UK has stock of this fan.

I'm not wanting the holy grail, I just want a fan that they are advertising as for sale. Is it to much to ask???

Have you tried Screwfix?

On a different note.
Kids with their parents that when parked next to me in a car park open the door (the kid) and bang the door against my 90. Hit my side step so the joke is on them! Twisted Evil
None the less still not the right way of going on, admittedly the pregnant mother told her off but equally only because I was there I am sure.
As I heard her mutter quietly "the person is in there"
Rolling Eyes
Another thing, being sat there for a little while waiting for someone, I couldn't help but notice the tyres!
More bald than Harry Hill's head on the front! Shocked Kerbed alloys on the Zafira too with Halfords job alloys on.
And the best part was there was a chunk off rubber gouged out of the tyre sidewall Shocked
And this a car carrying an expectant mother and around a 5 year old daughter.
The mind really boggles Confused Chillin In The Backwoods🇬🇧🇺🇸
