Puma 5 Seater - want to add the two rear folding seats
Hi there,

I have a 2010 110 that came out as a 5 seater. Can I assume that if I buy two forward facing rear seats and the seat belts etc, they will all just bolt straight in? I noticed that the rear seatbelt pillar molds have the 'indent' for the seatbelt straps to come through, but they are not cut out...

Can anyone shed some light on this?

it might be that simple, it might not it depends on the shape of the rear tub,

you see he actually cuts the rear arches to make the seats fit, ive bought some puma rear seats and planning to do the same thing in the new year

That looks like a lot of work! Are you sure that is the same for a 110 ? I havn't lifted the boot carpet and looked for bolt holes yet... I assume that is what I am looking for?

You are basically looking to see if you wheel arches are just square or whether they already have the extra step in them as per the photos in the other thread.

If you don't have the extra step then you have 2 options, first you can cut the arches and fit genuine land rover seats or you could look at the Exmor Trim lock and fold seats which fit standard arches.

Mcma's conversion was from a van with flat-topped rear wheel arches, whereas your station wagon should already have the recessed arches designed to accomodate the newer forward facing seats. The only issue should be whether yours has the various bolt holes and brackets fitted for the seats to mount on to. I'd suggest taking a look underneath and under the carpet to see what's there. Darren

it is easy for tdci 110SW.
Bolts that need to screw seats are ''stuck'' underneath the floor. (it is easy to see them)
so you first carefully drill the floor underneath the floor with a smaller ''nose''
and then
drill with bigger drill over the floor so you won't hurt inside of bolt.

for seat belts you have to cut the interior.

110's are quite easy...

Unlike a 90 a 110 has the correct floor shape - and also has all of the captive mounts in place. However, you need to drill the floor to get to them. The mounting plate is wheel side of the wheel arch.

This is easily done with a M8 drill guide.

You need the seats and all the fittings, the correct carpets (or cut to suit) and then seat belts and mounts. The grey trims can be easily cut for the seatbelt.

I have done a couple of Utility to CSW conversions...
