Busy weekend!

yesterday drove my girlfriend and brother back from uni with their stuff.

Girlfriends stuff:
4 bags of clay
1 bag of plaster
7 lengths of rebar
3 miniature steel maquettes
1 rusty RSJ
1 suitcase of clean clothes
1 suitcase of dirty clothes
1 backpack of books
1 backpack of generic stuff.
1 box of whiskey, gin, beer etc

Brothers stuff:
1 suitcase of clean clothes
1 suitcase of dirty clothes
1 backpack of books
1 xbox

Still had room for 3 people Very Happy

Was also nice to be reminded how smooth it rides when it actually has some weight in it.

Then today went to pick up the Christmas tree.

It's usefulness knows no bounds Very Happy

I fitted an exmoor trim rear hoop set and fitted the exmoor trim roof.
Got soaked but had to get it done.

It's a Safari Equipe one bought from 4x4 Overlander aka forum member Leeds.

Really is a well made bit of kit. Craig Rogers

Today we packed my Defender, tied stuff down, printed out the manifest, etc.

Tomorrow, as they say, is another day...

But one for us that is quite significant - tomorrow the man with a big artic comes to take it away for shipping to Australia... Big Moment! Very Happy

Pics to follow tomorrow, but other stuff already on our blog http://landytravels.com/ Thumbs Up Our blog - http://landytravels.com/

Went to collect the Christmas tree today with all the mud from yesterdays exploits at Rockingham everywhere.

Took straps to put it on the roof but was surprised to find a 7' tree went in the 90, all be it with the top bent up against the windscreen Thumbs Up

Pam, get ready to feel a bit sad/weepy when you see your 90 disappear. Big Cry

Then you will wonder what is happening to it. Also did you pack item X, should you have packed item Y?

Finally the relief when you see it again Thumbs Up

There again you have experienced that before.

Good luck with the trip Thumbs Up

Also do not forget the photos! Here and YORC.
