Thanks for all the supportive comments chaps, much appreciated. I know that these aren't strictly 'Defender' pics but the food and present story seems to have struck a chord. One or two more of the recipients.
Guaranteed this is the only gift that this little girl will be receiving. Click image to enlarge This is Willy; without the food support this poor chap would be totally desperate - and he can still smile! Click image to enlarge And then finally a proper Defender pic; on the way home - Defender heaven. Click image to enlarge Thanks for the nominations for the new annual award chaps but I would have to give it to Sr Martha and Sr Breda and 9t, the Defender, is out working as Lou pointed out. 9t, were the presents you were handing out from English schools? It looks like the boxes my kids sent into school but I can't remember which charity they were for.

Hi mk1collector,
No, all the presents came from a Marist school in Cape Town; St Joseph's, one of five Marist schools in SA. I run one of them in Johannesburg so this was working with a sister school on a joint initiative with the Sisters of Mercy. Thanks for supporting the need anyway. I spent some time putting washers on the spare wheel studs to space my spare away from the wiper.
I'd accidently backed it into a corner of my workshop the other night and pushed it into the door. |

Heaven forbid - noooo!
OK, to get it all back in context; went to the shops, washed the mud off, bought a funky little screen to keep the dogs in the back.......... '13 Defender 90 '10 Freelander '13 BMW R1200GS '62 Triang Tricycle Previously '04 R1150RT; '11 F650GS; '98 Defender 110; '03 Defender 90; '02 Freelander |

9t - Great work there, makes you think how humbling it is to us to appreciate what we already have even if times are hard here in the UK.
Keep up the great work. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️ |
