United Kingdom 2008 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Tonga Green
Can I assume the Wipac Crystal units in the Paddocks link above and the quoted Osrams would be applicable to a 2008 2.4 Puma?

Also, what is involved in fitting the units whilst preserving the alignment. Can this be done without removing the surrounding plate?

Thanks Trevor Wright

Those are the right Wipacs (Paddocks PM678) & the bulbs are standard H4 fitment so should be fine.

I removed the entire unit, took apart, fitted bulb then re-assembled. Not sure it could be done any other way. I was careful with re-assembly but my alignment was massively out.

My advice - Do the swap yourself, it's pretty easy, then have the lights re-aligned at an MOT centre.
Unless you have the equipment to do it yourself that is Thumbs Up 2013 Defender 90 HT

Here's a pic of the Wipac Crystals fitted, with Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited bulbs (low beam) and also just fitted RDX LED sidelights. For the total sum of £80 this is a much better setup. Cool The colour temperature of the headlights / sidelights match well too.

Along with the new brunel grille / headlamp surrounds the front of my truck looks much smarter Thumbs Up
