Stop press.
Just in from reuters. "A japanese consortium was spotted leaving the Red Lion Public House Pembridge after successful talks with an unnamed local business man about a contract to mass produce roof consoles" unfortunately no one was available for comment 59 2.4 110 XS Utility 55 TD5 110 CSW Special Vehicle |

Here is a pic of the ally mock up the one I will be fitting to the 130 will be stainless steel. This one has 2 radio slots (discoscuzzy requested this so he could fit both his CB radios). The roof lining will have to be cut to allow the radios in far enough to sit flush. The flat plate that runs from the radios towards the rear of the car can be used to locate banks of switches, cargo net, cuddly toy, etc etc.

I like the medieval welding Gives it a sort of 14th century authenticity
Seriously, though - that'll look great. How are you attaching it To the headlining or to the roof? One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

Its fixed to the roof via the roof support ribs with riv nuts, its also fixed to the two inner sun visor fixings. its as strong as fook.
The finished product will be bent into shape. This one is the mock up its easier to tack the thing together, if we need to adjust we simply break the welds, re align re tack until its the desired shape 130's have feeling's as well you know |
