Roof Console
Looking to get a roof console for the Defenders, good old Google has come up two options.

The Equipe 4x4 at £360






The ARB one at £250




Now whilst I dont mind paying for a bit of quality, I think these prices are ridiculous. The Equipe one looks the ducks nuts but at that price I would rather make one. Do you guys know of any other makes?

I agree the Equipe one looks amazing. I'd lust need to think of something to put in it Very Happy My sunglasses? One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

OK who wants one. It will be made from ally, powder coated, recessed into the roof lining, wide enough for two radios and wont be as expensive as the other two in this thread.

One question : In order for the console to be recessed the lining has to be cut out - no prob-, but how do we fix it to the roof withou having the rain inside after ?! Question Regards

Iagree the equipe one does look good , it looks that way for a reason its well engineered thats why it costs £360 PITA to fit though cheers chris

Maybe you could also make a dent in the roof (like the Puma bonnet) to house it, just for fun....

Will it be made of watertank liner?

I am interested mate. For me it must accomodate a CB a lockable stash box with a ninja keyless entry system and a switch for the 20MM cannon I am mounting to deal with all the 2 wheel arseholes who increase my fuel consumtion and stress levels during inclement weather.
