Would the Nakatanenga one work with a exmoor trim lockable cubby? I guess I would have to cut a whole in the cup holder tray to get to the lock underneath

It would depend on several factors. The Nakatanenga box is ca. 400 x 280 x 130 mm.

Now it depends on exactly what cubby box you get. Is there a removeable 'cup holder' as you will have to drill a hole to access the hidden lock.

These turn up on ebay not sure where they originally come from but there great for storage. Just need to get it trimmed to make it a little more comfy.

These are the cubbies from "barebox". Ive got one and 2 of the rear boxes fitted. Sturdy, cheap and you could mod it to make it fancy etc. I just wanted something i could hose off!

I put some pieces of wood under mine so that it is about the same height as the door (where my right elbow rests). Combined with moving the handbrake, out of the way, I now greenlane in an armchair position!

Note the switches that I moved off of the dashboard so that the double DIN could fit. The window lift switches are now in a better position that before. You don't have to take your elbow off the cubby box to open a window. Yes I know, I'm a lazy driver.
