The That looks like my perfect solution- especially with a leather trimmed box on top of it- who makes your under cubby box and how do you get into it. |

Nakatanenga,
Basically under the cup holder is a lock, the whole cubby box is mounted on the lid of the undercubby. Undo the lock and the whole cubby hinges up with the lid. The cubby retrim was an FCX creation. The undercubby is a bit like a tardis there's loads of storage room. Yep. GMB one is slightly cheaper by about 40-50 euros dependant on depth.
Pays your money, takes your choice, you may possibly get a forum discount perhaps if you use one of the sponsors or make your own? If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Price is actually 189 euros. Now if you think you can make them same quality and at a good price I am sure that both Nakatanenga and us would be interested in an alternative supplier. Since it is still Black Friday weekend I might just have to see what we can do. Brendan |

We have the Nakatanenga security boxes in stock with different plates for different switch/socket arrangemnts
The Nakatanenga box is more of a security box where it is possible to hide the lock under the standard cubby box. The GMB box is more of an electrical box comes in two different heights. Has lots of holes and grommets for cable entry/exit and dividers are available within the box. Also available are split charge circuits and a digital voltmeter. Both boxes and most of the accessories are available from stock from us. Brendan |

I'm sure it's an honest price, however I don't think I've got 189 euro worth of stuff to leave in the car that's worth stealing. So what an I thinking towards? A waterproof box for electricals, a subwoofer, an "emergency" box to put your flashlight and window hammer in, a toolbox to put cans of WD40 in... So for me I'm going the DIY route in wood with a leather-look type finish, similar to how cubbyboxes are made. Nothing personal. |

Would the Nakatanenga one work with a exmoor trim lockable cubby? I guess I would have to cut a whole in the cup holder tray to get to the lock underneath
