This company (Shire Fabrications)and its product (SafeTpedal) http://www.shirefabrications.com/ also caught my eye on another forum post. Have absolutely no idea if this is a well engineered (designed and manufactured) product at the price and an effective deterrent or not? Anyone experienced it after some real action?

There's probably a bit of 'post fatigue' on this subject as it seems to come up in one form or another pretty much every week. The accepted wisdom seems to be to adopt a layered approach of several different devices or methods.
I'd recommend a methodical use of the search facility as I'm sure that all of your questions can be answered. Putting 'security' in the search box turns up over three hundred threads, for example, with the top ten all having entries in the last week. The safe t pedal even has a thread all of its' own Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? Thanks for your tip - more options than you could shake a stick at and a lot of it very recent. Thought some of those pedal locks looked interesting but I hope the suppliers are better at engineering than they are at producing a simple to use and informative e-commerce website.
I'm off to do some further research using the search facility. |
