Armstong Shock Absorbers?
I need a new shock on the back of my Td5 90, I don't want a lift or anything special, 90% of the time it's unloaded and it does about 30/70 (green laning/motorway)
I'm going to replace the pair, so what are armstong shocks like? I might be selling it within a year so I don't want to shell out on anythign crazy price wise. Tdci 110 DC

From an old faded memory they were something you fitted to get through an MoT. Now this is a very old and very faded memory so things maybe different now, but I recall they were very much the plain and simple end of the shock absorber market back when I had a mk1 escort . 2023 110 P400e

They are a simple shock - but decent quality.

There a standard oil shock, but I've had 130 spec Armstrong's on the back of my 110 and I'm very happy with them.

I fitted some on Friday night and they passed the DOE yesterday morning, they seem to be ok from having a quick look at them before bolting them to the truck. Didn't really notice any difference in ride but I haven't driven it much since then. Tdci 110 DC
