Could you give a link to those bulbs - I cannot find any E marked bulbs with that power output on the PIAA website. Thumbs Up LANDYWATCH

Well that site is at odds with the main PIAA site where these bulbs are NOT E Marked and for off-road use only.

PIAA H4 P43T 135/90W Bulb is E marked on the piaaonline site BUT on the piaa.co.uk site they are marked for OFF-ROAD use only. Same bulb, same cost.
Would be good if they were E marked Thumbs Up LANDYWATCH

Anyone know why higher wattage h4 is not e marked ... Hid equipped car headlight is miles brighter than std wattage h4 so why can't we upgrade to brighter headlights (with wiring relay upgrade) as long as they set up right not to dazzle

As a sort of sideways topic, what are the directional requirements for fitting driving/spot/auxilary lamps.

I want to fit my Lightforce 170s in place of the 55w generic pair I have fitted at present. What height & distance max should they be set to? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. There is no requirement for adjustment regarding additional driving lights as they are not illuminated with the dipped beam. They are ment to be adjusted for the best visibility on main beam which obviously you dip when there is a car oncoming Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon
