You're far too nice. Your reduced to walking, they don't even communicate with you, and you've paid for it, and taxed and insured it to sit in there yard I'd be doing my nut!!!!!

The problem is they know I've got the 110 so they know I don't really need a car
My Main problem is them not phoning to keep me up to speed. Even if only to say. Its on the ramp tomorrow , you'll get it back next week. At least then I could rearrange the wax oil and order a few bits I want for it |

I got a call regarding mine, window fixed, but can't find anything with gearbox and it's driving now - despite the puddle of fluid and neither AA or me being able to move the car, at least it's all going again.

Hope it's going better for you than me Steve. My working defender is still reading as 10/20mph when I'm on the motorway, an upsetting noise from the rear too! Sounds like it wants to rip itself in 2.

Bloody hell mate
That sounds like a nightmare. Was the speedo faulty when they had it to fix I just got mine back but haven't driven it yet. Will see what it's like in an hour. Hoping the steering wheel is now straight too |

yep it went in with a faulty speedo, whining from transmission (then nothing), Faulty electric window, and my wheel is at 30° too.
So far they have fixed the window and told me that the not selecting gear was a user error with the hi-low box. So it now moves, but there is a high pitched whine that gets louder as you go faster - so much so I'm nervous to drive above 45/50 (using sat nav for speed, as the car only hows 15 jumping to mid 30 and back again) |

what are your plans now. It can't stay like that. Id love to see this 120 point check list nobody looks at . my steering wheel is still miles out. Im going to get mine looked over by an independent friend of mine whos going to wax oil it and then my 110 the following week. if any probs ill get it sorted under the warranty. But I want everything down to brake callipers checked. Ill get the wheel aligned by a specialist Ive used a couple of times on my VW transporterI had and there good people. |
